<p>Promising news for MSDN subscribers, after receiving xp and vista free of charge and with the release of windows 7 soon theres a high chance we&#8217;ll be getting an upgrade option very soon. </p>
<p>Only question left is&#8230;&#8230;.which version will we get???</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Interesting news for fans of the extended fiasco that is the RIAA and their hunt for music downloaders, <a href="http://www.pcworld.com/article/167058/Riaa_file_sharing.html">a recent retrial</a> just settled against the infamous Jammie Thomas with the final verdict laying down the hefty sum of $80,000 dollars <strong>PER SONG</strong>!!! Shocking as this is almost 9 times as much as the original trials verdict of roughly $9000 a song :O</p>
<p>I&#8217;m pretty sure any reasonable and sane person should be able to tell that these fines are just so far beyond ridiculous! </p>
<p><strong>The upside to this is that it could lead to quick revisions to the US copyright laws to refuse bullies like the RIAA the chance to &#8217;send a message&#8217; through the use of grossly inflated charges, glad to know the constitution is good for something!</strong></p>
